BACHELOR OF MUSIC
Irina graduated with Bachelor's Degree in Sibelius Academy of University of Arts on 12th of June 2020. She continues her Master's Degree studies with professor Monica Groop.
SCENES FROM GOETHE'S FAUST TV PREMIERE
In August 2019, Irina featured as a soloist in Robert Schumann’s rarely-performed grand work Scenes from Goethe's Faust at the Helsinki Festival, where the Radio Symphony Orchestra was conducted by Hannu Lintu.
The tale of Faust, who sold his soul to the Devil, is one of the most iconic in our cultural heritage and has been adapted countless times. Jussi Nikkilä’s modern stage realisation combined Schumann's music with performing arts and strong visual aspects.
The work was realised as a joint production of the Finnish Broadcasting Company Yle.
The TV premiere will be broadcasted by Yle Teema on 2nd of January 2020.

COSÌ FAN TUTTE
In December 2019, Irina will make her role debut as Dorabella in Turundot Oy's production of Così fan tutte at the Conservatory Hall in Joensuu, Finland. The show will feature the talents of Talvi-Maaria Turunen (Fiordiligi), Akseli Ferrand (Ferrando), Joonas Asikainen (Guglielmo), Henna-Mari Luolamo (Despina), and Juha Eskelinen (Don Alfonso). The show will be conducted by Pinja Hasu.

TIMO MUSTAKALLIO SINGING COMPETITION
Irina was named a finalist at the 2019 Timo Mustakallio Singing Competition in July 2019. The competition is for young, promising singers under the age of 26 and held at the Savonlinna Opera Festival. The jury comprised of Jorma Silvasti (former artistic director of the Savonlinna Opera Festival, Soile Isokoski (soprano), and Topi Lehtipuu (tenor & conductor). Each of the finalists will receive a full-tuition scholarship to participate in a master class at the 2020 Savonlinna Opera Festival.

LAPPEENRANTA SINGING COMPETITION
In January 2019, Irina participated in the 2019 Lappeenranta Singing Competition in Lappeenranta, Finland. She was the youngest finalist and received a special prize. Etelä-Saimaa Newspaper described Irina as a singer that "does not shy away from challenges". You can read the full review here (only available in Finnish).
